Nice and thanks for the responses everyone. For your Ultra Racing trunk brace, how far is the bar towards the center? I probably don't need it as mine is just a daily driver but was just curious if it takes up trunk space. I usually have to bring in a lot of duffel bags into work.

It pretty much in the center of the trunk - in the area where it starts to narrow when you go deeper in. Unless something can fit under the bar, or behind the bar, you are stuck with 1/2 trunk.

If you remove your back seat, you will see that the area is enclosed with substantial metal. Putting a bar 6 inches from a wall of metal may not add any rigidity to the chassis.

Did you have to modify the engine cover and side covers for the front bar to fit? Does it touch the engine cover?

Had to trim the side engine covers to make it fit..pretty easy/clean with dremel.

The engine cover touches very slightly on the drivers side..not enough to damage or scratch it though.
