Yes, typo on my part. That figure depends on the cost of the intake/TB. I forget now if RR said the TB was a waste of time or not...but if you need the TB and intake manifold porting; that figure's going to rise ~$1K at the least.

Will keep a look out for the new thread once the new tuned intake is available.

Seem to recall you mentioning this would only see improvements on cars with headers fitted? Is that correct?
Right now we are doing the following:

(1) Working on the production version of the intake.
(2) Need to better quantify the benefit of the ported throttlebody, so we are going to do more dyno testing on a customer car.

We already determined that the RCF throttle body has very little or no benefit, so looks like we just spent $700+ so you don't have to

Sounds good.

As long as I can still use my lovely RR-Racing titanium intake pipe, I'm happy!

Look forward to seeing some updates in a bit.

Cheers.

Hopefully most of the gains are had with Rafi's intake/maf housing and intake tune. I'll be totally game if we don't need to port the TB or IM for the gains, I like mods where the car can be reverted back to stock.

I'd be interested in the gains to be had with TB/IM modification with the SC kit. I'd imagine the volume of air would really change with the charger.

Generally speaking, large TB's are not a benefit for forced induction applications. The stock TB should be plenty sufficient.

Depends on the form of forced induction. On a positive displacement type blower you can't really get it too big, bigger is better. On turbo or "blow through" type supercharger (centri) as long as it is not smaller than the piping that is correct, not much benefit to increasing the size.
