Startup, Is this normal?
Seems like sometimes on cold start ups the car hesitates before it fires up. Thoughts?

Mine is doing the same thing. 67k on clock. I was going to do the recommended 60k spark plug change next week and see if that helped any???

Can't say that I've ever experienced that long of delay before startup on my 2012...
That does conjure up nightmares of my 335i ownership, it was the first sign of HPFP failure...longer than normal starts. *shivers*

First thing that came to mind was the battery. Mine started doing that before it went out. After, replacing the battery I noticed start ups were swift and fast.

Do, you guys REV IT, before shutting down??
Might be some extra fuel burning off before the crank start fires up..
Pure speculation

That start up looks and sounds normal. If you need to, check the battery cables to see if there are any corrosion.

Clear your PMs Joe Z and shoote a message if you can!
OP, strongly believe that the battery is getting weak. Over 4 years old now (assuming you haven't changed it out yet).

Spoke to my mechanic and he said my car could be losing fuel pressure when it sits for an extended period of time. Might be a leaky fuel pump.
