An hour or two. I dunno. Maybe one day. Right now I'm focusing on getting rid of the chrome.

Thought so. I'm not comfortable doing it myself. My car is my baby and I am simply not good at jobs like this. I was debating on plastidipping them, but chose to have it done right.

I will shop a little more in the area. Unfortunately, I have to drive three hours over to the valley in order to find someone to do it.

I would definitely try the black out tape first. It is for the mini cooper but, not only ISF owners, IS250 and IS350 owners have used it and like it. And please don't tell me your that incompetent of putting on regular ol tape, because thats all it is. Can't go wrong with $10.95 either. If you end up not liking it, just take it off and go get it done professionally.

^^^ I used gloss black on my Obsidian. The only difficult part(if you can call it that) is around the back side of the rear quarter glass. It has a slight wrinkle at that curve. Other than that it's perfect. Make sure the surface of the car is warm( I felt this helped) and don't stretch it too much. I'll post a better picture later.

So here's a better pic of the gloss wrap.

When you guys are wrapping yours, are you only wrapping enough to cover the chrome or enough to cover the entire window sill so that it's uniform?

I wrapped the entire window sill:

The outmotoring tape is only wide enough to do the chrome. I believe they do have a wider tape for later gen cars but I do no know how much wider.
