I agree, I should've looked closer at it but that is insane how much lip it leaves out. The 275's in the rear and 245's in the front fit pretty flush with the wheel. My apologies!

Those triangles are actually intended for the location of the "tire wear indicators" where if u look at the groove in the tread at that location, there's a little bar in the groove that if the tread gets to that bar, it means you should replace your tires, assuming u get even tire wear across the tire.

But reading elswhere, some say they have wear past the tip of the triangle so interpret and decide if you feel the same and read about it some more on different forums.

So it's all trial and error and how u want your car to handle. Of course there are pros and cons playing with tire pressure due to how different tire pressures cause different wear patterns on tires, just like messing with the toe setting of the alignment.

Haven't read through the whole thread but jut seen it and wanted to put in my input yeah they had a bad rep back in the days especially in the final destination movie when it flew across the screen lol but I had 2 other brand tires on my isf which was the continentals dws and good year eagle f1 and now the firestone and they were cheap but overall expierence I would pick them over the continentals and the good years . Love them from my expierence and there on my car still today

I've been running them for about a year. Not much wear and they provide great traction. I haven't done any serious track racing so idk about how they are during turns. For the price, I don't think there is a better tire. Cheap quality tire.

I bought some of these for 946 from Firestone and decided to go with 245F and 275R. The offered a lifetime alignment which was a good deal.

i just installed a set of these and there is a pretty big difference between these tires and the bridgestone s04s. the steering feels incredibly light. I have the RR USRS and with these tires, it feels like the stock LCAs and tires. i think the sweet spot is somewhere between the s04s with USRS and firehawks with USRS in terms of steering wheel feel.

in terms of new tire comparison, i think the s04s were slightly quieter. i'll have to wait and see which one is quieter as this set wears down. i'm still waiting for the new coating to wear off, so i've been taking it really easy.
