You can get a 2012 ISF for 45K right now. 300 lbs lighter than an RCF.

If you're going to be interacting with the dealership periodically as someone mentioned, a Lexus dealership is a whole world better experience than any GM dealership.
GM made some great stuff...... prior to about 1973
Take a look at Michigan and Detroit; they've been going bankrupt for years and this is even after the federal government used our tax dollars to bail out GM and Chrysler. The problem with the bailout IMHO, is that those companies got an easy way out and therefore didn't have to bother improving the quality of their products.
Good luck and if you decide on the V, drive it for a while and let us know how it goes.

haha I asked my wife recently if ZI should trade my F in for the new CTS-V. HER ANSWER : Sure baby !!! BUT Im not picking you up when that POS breaks down . LOL

Check out crash test review on Mustang, Camaro, Charger going 40 mph they fail pretty bad. For me reliability and safety is the most important.

Yeah didn't get a chance to test drive anything yet, but I'm liking go with your gut for reliability with the ISF. Like i said i'm far from rich so i'll be buying this car not needing it to break down on me.

Its really just an opinion. If you want to upgrade past the hp the F can do then do it but there is also a cost to that. Rack time at the shop.
I love the isf and knowing that reliability there is priceless to me. Yes I wish we could do more mods but the things is pretty quick as it sits. Now there is a tune and looks to be a SC kit.
In the end GM vehichels to me are junk. Never owned one but friends do. Lot of issues, wiring and mechanical.
In the end these are all opinions go with your gut.

I went from a ’12 ISF (Sikky headers, ISS DES exhaust, ISS intake scoops, Joe Z intake, throttle controller, f-sport sway bar) to a ’12 V wagon (headers, x-pipe, intake, tune, grounding kit, Eibach springs, recaros, suede package, ultra view sunroof) back in October, so hopefully I can help out as well.
The V has more power and mod potential for sure. I love it from that aspect. Add the fact that I have the wagon into the mix and it’s an amazing all around vehicle. I also LOVE the suede steering wheel.
I will say, the V lacks the refinement that the F has. I also miss how responsive the F transmission is.
As far as reliability goes, I haven’t had a single issue. The supercharger on mine was replaced about 4k miles prior to me buying the car. The vehicle history shows that being the only major work done on it when owned by the previous owner. I wouldn’t worry about reliability on the V unless you get crazy with the mods.
For gas mileage, the V blows, but I use my wife’s NX200t when we drive longer distances. The V is my DD and I average a hair above 14mpg (50/50 city and hwy on 13 mile commute to work), whereas I was getting 19 in the F on the same route.
I don’t know if I am just so used to Toyota navi units from work or not, but I think the voice command system in the V is garbage. I have had to go to the owner’s manual anytime I want to do anything because it’s not easy to figure anything out on your own.
I’d say the ISF is Bruce Lee and the V is the Hulk.
In an ideal world, I wish I could keep the F as the DD/road trip car and have the V when I want to get rowdy.

I've been eyeing them too. I've found a few used ones in the 56k range with 20k on the clock. None the color combo I want though.
I wouldn't touch a Q50. Test drove one and it did not impress me at all. Matter of fact nothing from Nissan/infiniti does and nor does their build quality for that matter. They are not what they use to be.

I've been looking for the same 2 cars for about 3 months now.. Test drove a couple CTSV's.. Where as they are nice, there's something about the build quality in them that bothers me.. Plus I've been stalking the CTSV forums and all I read about are tranny problems.. That scares me.. I just sold my Pontiac G8 GT, and it was fine until about the 85k mark then everything just started falling apart..
I then drove my buddy's 08 ISF.. Man I was impressed with it.. A little tight inside, but that's fine with me..
I am now a 3 day old owner of a 2010 ISF that I got for a price that couldn't be overlooked!! Only 50k miles.. Looks and drives like brand new..!! I say go with the Lexus again.. Quality and reliability can't be beat with these..
I then drove my buddy's 08 ISF.. Man I was impressed with it.. A little tight inside, but that's fine with me..
