Sounds to me like either Simon needed a new DD or the RR Racing's IS-F is stepping down from a DD/Track car to a primarily track monster. Either way, IS350 owners should be excited, Rafi will do amazing things to bring that cars performance to a whole new level.

Things have been really quiet since the California meet. Would like to know what the final numbers were (hp, tq and boost).

The last I read they sent off parts to production. This was 2 weeks ago. I know we're all anxious and awaiting results. This kit is going to sell for approx. 8k. Quite, frankly we been waiting for over 8 years for something of this magnitude. Let's let RR Racing work their magic and complete all the testing they deem necessary. I would dislike to drop that kind of cash on a kit that hasn't been proven thoroughly and affects the integrity of the reliability we all cling on to.

I want to purchase as well but since this kit probably won't be CARB legal I don't think I'll be able to

If I can afford it I'm in! I'm not too worried about the CARB thing, just pricing

I'm not in CA but I've been lurking around awaiting news. I'm planning to purchase a IS-F if this kit exceeds expectations. Sadly all this time waiting has got me looking at other vehicle options.

Definitely interested and looking forward to hearing on final power numbers and pricing. If it meets expectations, will surely pull the trigger on this kit

Define exceeds expectations?

From what I've been able to gather from what they have said on the forums and talking to them on the phone the kit should be:
-Priced somewhere in the $8k area +/-
-About 5 1/2 pounds boost putting down about 530ish Whp

Not coming down on you at all, I'm just curious as to what some peoples expectations are of this S/C kit?

I'm in TN and am definitely interested. I am waiting to see final pricing, final hp/tq numbers and complexity of installation. Charger kits usually aren't that difficult to install but you never know.

That's going to be around 620 crank horse...Is this engine really going to be long-term reliable with 50% power than stock running through it force-fed?

1) Complicated install or bolt on.
2) If any additional parts would need to be purchased.
3) Possibilities to run e85 full time.
4) Release date.
5) If I purchased another car before any word of the release date. I started looking at other cars with similar WHP figures.

The cost of the kit isn't a factor unless it's way over priced.

Have no idea?? Just going off of what Rafi has said about final HP numbers at the wheel. We will find our here pretty soon as I think there are going to be at least 5-10 kits sold here in the next couple months is my guess. Then the dyno testing/ 1/4 mile/ track data will be flowing in from all around the world I bet!?

Makes sense^^^^Although I did hear that Rafi ran out of Fuel injector while testing out higher boost levels not to long ago without going into specifics, so I don't know how much more injector (direct & port) we would need to run 100% E-85?? It's not like we can just get bigger injectors like everyone else that runs an E-85 tune for their build because we would have to buy 2 sets of injectors (8 direct & 8 port injectors). Edit: ^^^ If an aftermarket company makes bigger injectors for the ISF that can fit both the port and direct then it may be a possibility if the fuel pump then can flow enough to satisfy the demand of running 100% E-85 on a full time basis??

I'm sure when he makes the announcement the thread will be busy for sure and he will be busy answering everybody's questions that the F community has been waiting for since 2008.
