If a Honda B series can make 400% power increase on a stock block I hope to god this V8 can handle a fraction of that lol.

I said it before, but I'm more concerned with the longevity of the transmission than I am the block.

Agreed. The engine of course has forged internals. When people build engines to make high horsepower, that's obviously what they use. I don't see why the block wouldn't hold upwards of 700hp or more, with the correct tuning and if the fuel system can handle it of course. However, the transmission on the other hand..... What about the guys over in Japan? Haven't they been able to tune the cars for quite some time now? If so, anyone know how their transmissions have been holding up?

This guy is running a 150 shot and is running 1.6 60' with slicks and his axles and transmission are fine. I think that is proof that the IS-F powertrain is really strong from the factory.

That issue could've very well been from not being tuned...

Bakewalk didn't blow anything but blow all his competition away lol. The member selling the damaged engine sprayed a bit much and had piston to wall contact.

The current two tunes being offered by RR Racing and TTFS wil not benefit nitrous users

I haven't blown anything. I'm running again this upcoming weekend. Contemplating installing the roll bar in my ISF. Yes I said it, roll bar in an ISF. If I had a 1/4 mile track near me I would break into the 10's no problem with a 7.17 1/8th.

Haven't heard much of that. Most nitrous users had had 0 problems running it. I find the car responds beautifully with it. Seems to want more and more!

I think it was modified a bit and running a 200 shot at least IIRC but can't recall what modifications he did to his motor?
