You said E85 Raffi... You got my attention.

I like the carbon fiber piping but I am afraid that it will make the kit significantly expensive vs the silicone tubing. I never quoted carbon fiber so maybe is not as expensive as I think. I guess the carbon fiber intake that is on ebay has a similar pricing to the silicone intake.

Nice I had Meth injection system on my turbo IS300 had a dual knozzle setup M10 & M15 with progressive spray by alkycontrol (which supports 700+ wheel on pump gas). I was spraying pure methanol and could run over 30 PSI on 93 Octane gas! Not only does this system add octane but it super cools the intake charge so double benefit. I had the windshield washer reservoir converted over for the meth tank and it would hold a gallon of pure meth. That would last several takes of gas depending on how much boost I was using at the time. Pretty slick setup..

The only scary part is meth burns invisibly.

Im sure there will be different power levels which will require different needs, just like the kits offered for the E9X M3 they are comparing to.

The carbon fiber piping, while it sounds cool, hopefully doesn't needlessly run up the cost of the kit. I work in aerospace and am around composites all the time, it aint cheap haha.

Injection systems just add another failure point. Great when they work, but I'm wary on a DD.

The Evolve is also nearly double what the competitors charge though haha. It's a nice kit, but I guarantee you 95% of people will go with the ESS kit for $7500.

Good to hear that e85 is on the radar. Hopefully lexus left room in the injector duty to accommodate the additional fuel. I conveniently have an e85 pump 3 minutes from the house!

I'll assume that since it's not equipped with a factory flex sensor that you guys will likely tune for a ~70% mix for safety?

500 whp sounds nice but it really boils down to the cost of the kit. I think the carbon charge pipes would be 'cool' but an unnecessary expense to pass onto the customers, maybe as an option if people want to pay extra.

And the fact that if you don't do at least a 70% meth to water ratio and you get into an accident, its like sitting on a live bomb!

I for one like Rafi approach slow and methodical as far as price is concerned he's been pretty honest and upfront and has been a man of his word when it comes to pricing whenever he said he was going to keep it at around a certain price he was always in the same ballpark that he quoted so I believe him when he says he's going to do his best to keep it around that 7000 mark give or take.

For those that may be interested in posting up some information regarding the supercharger the cost of Evolve SC for M3, it's a quality well made complete system but very expensive. I'll also post up cost and info on ESS SC.

From doing a little bit of research on the supercharger Rafi choose Rotrex I understand why he picked it. Excellent low and mid-range power delivery as well as up top as well as some other great qualities.

It never bothered me and I drove the car from PA to MD several times 5 hours one way. Its only a gallon of meth your sitting on 15 gallons of gasoline under the trunk. Plus pure meth gives you the most octane boost and cooling properties.

I think we need about 550WHP out of it to make it worth while, 600 would be better.

Now with I/HET our cars are topping out at 420 WHP so a good hundred or more horses would do it justice. Of course peak ain't every thing, the whole area under the curve across the rpm spectrum is gonna rise but still... You get the idea.

Hope the tranny. Is up to the task!

Agree on choice of SC unit. Rotrex is Da'Bomb!
