The base ESS kit is $7995 and makes 500whp. Their 530whp kit is $8595.

We have dyno data from both the ESS and Evolve M3's on the same dyno as we use for testing, so I will post comparisons once we reach our target HP goals.

Our goal is 530whp, but also keep in mind that the e92 M3 makes 410tq with the SC, where as we make almost that much with a tune, without the SC

For those that may be interested in posting up some information regarding the supercharger the cost of Evolve SC for M3, it's a quality well made complete system but very expensive. I'll also post up cost and info on ESS SC. From doing a little bit of research on the supercharger Rafi choose Rotrex I understand why he picked it. Excellent low and mid-range power delivery as well as up top as well as some other great qualities.
Wait rafi said estimated it to be north of $8k. I doubt it's close to 7k?

Hope the tranny. Is up to the task!

Agree on choice of SC unit. Rotrex is Da'Bomb!
I think we will see over 520hp if he's at 500hp with 4 bars of boost then I think we should see 520hp + @6 bars on 93 octane. It's meth injection coupled with E85 that should help get into 600hp region if all goes well.

FYI, BAR and PSI are not the same. 1 BAR is 14.5 PSI so 6 BAR would be a crazy amount of boost... 87 PSI.

But you guys might need a couple bars up at that elevation hahaha.

By the way, ESS base kit is 7k
http://esstuning.com/e9x-m3-vt1-550-...harger-system/

and VF kits are on sale currently weeee.

And in no way am I trying to shoot down RR's price. I am merely stating that Evolves kit is seriously double their competition. Is it a nicer kit, sure, but who's going to pay 16k when you can make 130 more hp for half that. Plus I'm not a 1%er and don't have 16k to burn on a depreciating asset

Meth injection and E85 are a waste. I really dislike meth injection. I know of many people that have catastrophic failures even with fancy aquamist keeps with all their fail safe sensors.

Just use one or the other.

Yeah I agree. It should just be e85 or pump tune. Meth just adds even more complexity

530whp would be easy to achieve. I imagine you are shooting for 530whp on 93 oct?

With that same boost on E85 there would be huge gains specially torque gains. I hope you get to test E85 and see if we have enough injector.
