^^^^If I could, I'd TURN 'em all off. I wear my seat belt 100% of the time as do my passengers. I don't need no stinkin' airbags All of 'em are accidents waiting to happen. A real STUPID move by NHTSA
I dropped the car off at 10:30 this morning. Lexus just called and said they'll need the car until at least Monday. She rambled off something about codes and needing to get in touch with Lexus (higher up I guess) which they weren't able to do today. With tomorrow being the weekend I have to keep driving the rental until they call me Monday and let me know what's going on.
I work at the dealership in Albuquerque and my service advisor came to me today to say they have the recall parts in so they are doing it now. Hopefully start seeing them around the country soon.

The tech just came to me and said the same thing. Loaner RX350 probably for the weekend for me too.
Not good! I have done alot of custom wiring, as well as aftermarket audio. I'm not looking forward to this...
Not much but I have my Vaistech Ivic unit in the glove box. Hopefully they are careful and everything gets put back correctly in the glove box and behind the radio.

What exactly did they tell you? My SA was some younger lady and she really didn't explain it too well. Just said there was an issue with codes so they need to get more information. Not sure if the car itself was throwing a code after the replacement or something they were using needed a code they didn't have. I didn't want to deal with her anymore than I did this morning or on the phone earlier so I just politely said ok thanks keep me updated.
My suggestion is to remove it before they work on the car. I did with my custom wiring.
Way, way too much work. I'll have to have a talk with the tech before I let them do this. And my dealer doesn't know when They will have the parts available.

That's not too much to remove. Still, nothing to be happy about doing...again.

They'll probably charge you for having to remove it, but I'm not sure.
