Personally I've always preferred "less is more" I would remove all the badges except the F logos if I could but since there's holes left behind from the lettering I'll just have to deal

Let it bring shock and awe to any driver who wants to race or any bystander who thinks this is just another vanilla Lexus. The F-sport didn't help the cause in bringing awareness that there are performance oriented V8s in the Lexus lineup, but at least there is more of a performance-oriented perspective than in years past

Don't make the Pep Boys guys need to restock those silly emblems.

A V8 emblem isn't a bad idea. I would go with the V8 emblem off of the Lexus GX470/ Toyota 4Runner. They will be the same size as the other OEM emblems and look factory.

I did this on my LS430 because everyone thought I had a V6. I put the V8 badges on the fenders similar to how the emblems on V12 Mercedes S600 are placed.

I know what you mean. I did toy with wanting to put the V8 badge that Lexus makes but I've noticed a greater modesty with regards to the car. There's no need to flaunt or draw attention to the car. It does garner that all on its own. I wouldn't debadge the car altogether, but I know adding badges, especially ones that don't exactly fit on the car in terms of font or size, is a bad way to go.

The difference with the "V12" is simply because it's Mercedes. There aren't too many V12s out there on the street, and it's a "look at me" badge than showcasing its engine. There's a level of opulence and distinction that those who equate badges on the car to powerful/rare vehicles choose to only see. To each his or her own though.

V8 emblem on rear, and 5.0 on IS-F fenders would look great.

The badge in the picture in the original post is imo too large a font.

The "Lexus" & "IS" badges were missing when I bought the car. I stuck a V8 badge from a Landcrusher in approximately same font where the IS used to be.

Hopefully the "IS" is merely double sided taped on? I'd actually like to remove it if that's the case. Just leave the F badges. I hate badges otherwise and have always removed them from my previous car. I don't care if people don't know what it is. Looks cleaner.
