what are you talking about?
i think so, like grossly IMHO. its ALMOST 20k of miles a year, i put like 3K on my Lexus a year and like 5K on my pruis. i know 13k is rough average so they are almost 7k more a year and even if its highway miles (think traveling salesmen) there just is a lot of issues that can be had at this mileage and this car isnt cheap that i wanna MAYBE get into some expensive repairs.
now if the car was like $7-10K yeah i would probably take the risk

Ok let's talk about the 1990 Ford Thunderbird Supercoupe. *****ty 3.8 liter with an Eaton SC on it, crappy interior quality...... The point of the post was no to get started about the price of the car. As some other people above mentioned, and more particularily the person with the Vette, reliability is what I was getting at. For those of you that don't think people build in a zone to haggle. Ya I am sure the car would probably go for 17k. So those of you that don't like the price don't comment or call them up and b*tch at them not on my post.

I just checked and it looks like it did win in 89'! After looking at that list I think I will avoid buying any AT winners in the future. It looks like a curse A bunch of the cars in that list turned out to be some of the worst cars over the years.

As much trouble as my 91' Supercoupe gave me I have to admit that I did love that car at the time. It was fast (I was 17), drove nice and was rare in a sea of F-bodies and Fox Bodies.
