I didn't think it would have an affect since that's before MAF.
I think it has to do with turbulence near the MAF.

Here is my thread...the symptoms were almost exactly the same. Issue never came back after I sealed up the box.

After i plugged the battery back in and drove it the car was fine. No idea what the deal was, but im hoping it doesnt come back
