Default Recommended Oil For Higher Elevations?

Potentially silly question, and I suppose I should clarify. When I say higher elevations, I'm seeking out those who potentially see huge temperature swings from season to season or even from day to day, as we can often see in Colorado.

I'm due for my first oil change and to save some cost at the dealership I would like to supply my own oil and filter. Can those of you in the higher elevations recommend any particular oils, (types, brands, viscosity, etc.), over another?

The oil would probably last me through sometime in the winter, unless it's recommended for us in the cold weather to have two different viscosity types for the seasons.

I know a lot of this comes down to personal preference, but is there a brand or type that our cars love during the summer and hate during the winter and vice/versa?

couple local guys run redline and have sent their oil in for testing and have gotten 12k+ miles on it with it still being in great condition. it's on the expensive side though.

Per your vehicle's owner's manual:

"SAE 5W-30 is the best choice for good fuel economy, and good starting in cold weather.

*:If SAE 5W-30 oil is not available, SAE 10W-30 oil may be used. However, it should be
replaced with SAE 5W-30 at the next oil change."

Personally, I use Mobil1.

I've had no issues with Mobil1. I went with Liqui Moly this time around and will try Redline as some forum members seems to say the car feels a bit smoother.

Holy **** yeah that's stuff is expensive! Lol. $40/gallon. Geez. Lol. At 10 quarts, that's $100 on fluid alone. I suppose you gotta pay to play.

I'm almost ready to send my sample. I had a few hiccups this last interval, but everything has been justifiable. Definitely, appreciate the recommendation always. We'll have to catch up real soon my friend.

Have you considered doing it yourself? It's not rocket science.

After payng the local Lexus dealer over $200 for my F's first oil change, I've always done it myself.

My Blackstone reports are available here, and I run Mobil 1 5w-30 year round with 12k and even 14k OCIs. Red Line is overkill for our engines. I only run it in turbocharged engines like my Supra.
