Kick me in the....NUTS

I bought my IS250 with a clean carfax & vehicle history report... no reported damage at all. It was dirty when I went to see it, and if my memory serves me well, it was also cloudy outside, so my ability to actually inspect the paint to the level I usually do wasn't there...... long story short, upon bringing it home and beginning the detailing process it became clear that every panel of the vehicle had been repainted except the roof.
I was able to get the Lexus dealer service history as it was a prior lease vehicle, and their records showed "minor front and rear damage", no other comments or details on the matter.
This bugged me throughout my entire ownership, especially since the paint job had tiny flaws in it all over (fish eyes) that just drive me nuts given my background with perfecting paint.
Anyway, all that to say that I would never buy a vehicle that had been majorly repaired just due to the unknown. It will likely hurt resale value down the road, and may make selling the car quite difficult... that alone would steer me away from it.
FWIW, I picked up my 2008 ISF with just 44k miles on it with a clean vehicle history and no signs of repair for $29,xxx
In any case... good luck finding the right F for you!
