To you, what makes the ISF special?

Do you you think the negative reviews on the suspension and ride for the 2008s killed the desirability of the car for good? I mean to go from 2700 to 436 in year two--Lexus must have thought they were going to do pretty well after the initial sales figures only to get hammered in year two.
it seems like it could never recover from whatever the stigma was after year one. Perhaps that's good, as there might have been 21000 Fs if they sold 3k per year
I wonder what other cars only sold 86 units in 2014????

For me (in no particular order):
- Lexus brand
- high-powered vehicle
- useful 4-door
- (relatively) wide body
- durability
- rare find on public roads
- staggered front/rear wheel sizes
- compared to other V8's, it's good on gas

Drive in comfort to the Track, have fun, then drive back in comfort home. Since owning it, my stash of tools that I need to take to the track has shrunk down by 3/4th, love this car!

I love the IS F, I wish to have one too. I'm soooooooooooo disappointed in lexus not creating it again, this gen IS can do with a F model, coupe version and a convertible. Hell bmw, mercs do it, 4 dour, 2 door and convertible all versions having the M or AMG tuned. smh with the frankenstein RC, huge mistake imo especially knowing all the r&d that went into this gen IS, making it into a coupe would have been easier.
Again love the IS F
Again love the IS F

Lots of good replies in this thread which summarize a good deal of my feelings as well. I'll just say she trusts me and I trust her. If I could, I'd have the keyfob PCB surgically implanted into an arm. I'm dead serious.

That's some true commitment to the car right there. Do it
