Yeah, I think I'm fated in the direction of paint.

Now, should I do dark gray or black??? I'm thinking a really dark gray/light black (lol!) is the way to go over pure dark black (even though I've seen some MMs with pure black accents that look great). I guess cf is a bit more on the really dark gray/light black side, so that's probably the choice.

No need to have actual CF pieces. Could always do a CF wrap too.

Hey Jz39 - the color code for the grey I used was 1E3 I believe. My roof spoiler and front chin spoiler is both painted USB, although I'm going to have it repainted to that grey soon to match my side skirts and rear diffuser.

My current thought is to get my spoiler wrapped in the dark gray 3M wrap and then match the paint to that for the spoilers and diffuser. I'm a bit hesitant to paint the spoiler outright and I think a wrap should be fine on that part.

My final thought is around a potential wrap for the roof in the future. Would a dark gray wrap on the roof look silly--does this "need" to be black? I like the contrasted roof look, but I've only ever seen black. I don't want to end up with a silver, gray AND black car, I don't think. I guess the dark gray would look fine?

I guess therein lies the goodness of the wrap--you can try and go back if you don't like it

Dark grey looks great on the roof if your car is silver. Especially if your going to do everything else in dark grey. I did that on my old silver BRZ and loved it. Here's a pic just so you get the idea. I know it's not an ISF.

I like! Is that wrap or paint? If wrap, is it 3M dark gray satin or gloss anthracite?

Thanks for the pic,

Good stuff! Thanks for the verification. Any more pics showing the roof color clearly by chance?
