I was about to tell you to do this, as the gf said this is what you should do "This guy should go to the shop, ask to see his car, ask what parts they still need, and call insurance to ask why they arent paying for it. chances are insurance denied what the shop is asking for (for some reason), or the shop is ****ing up and isnt making this car a priority. fixing a car isnt rocket science, it takes a long time cause theyre not making the effort, OR parts arent available"

(Forgot to mention that I had an email from the estimator yesterday evening that the bumper brackets were finally approved.)
Day 52:
I was able to make it out to the bodyshop and see my car today. Spoke with the tech working on my car and he said all that was left to do was cut out a piece of the headlight brackets (since I upgraded 2008 to 2012 headlights) and reassemble the car. They said the car also has a bad battery and has had to be jumped a couple times but that they would replace it for me. It had only happened to me once before months ago (4yr old battery)
As for the rental, he assured me that everything would be paid for even if the bodyshop would have to cover the costs. The estimator said they would have it ready for me by tomorrow morning. Let's see if that holds true.
