Default Suspension Swap?

Hi Guys,
I have a 2008 Lexus ISF that I bought with KW Variant 3 coilovers. I'm never going to be tracking the car and I'm interested in bringing back the stock feel to the car. I live in Taylorsville, NC and I'm wondering if there's anyone out there interested in doing a swap for their factory setup for my KW coilovers? Let me know what you think! -Garrett

Your current set up actually is better in terms of ride quality then the stock 2008 suspension. If you want to go back to stock I recommend you find one out of a 2011 or newer IS-F.

Yes wmjeffreyw, I'd prefer the 2011 stock suspension. The KW's like other aftermarket coilovers I'm sure, are just to stiff of a ride for me as a daily driver on our roads. Anybody interested in a swap?

this is the first time I heard a owner complaining about the stiff ride owning KW v3. Did you try to adjust them?

The 08-09 oem suspension would be even more stiff for you.

The KWs have adjustment ***** to make the ride less stiff. Try that and see if you like it.

A lot of complains are related to the KWs being too soft for ISF owners

The 2010 suspension to my knowledge is the same as the 08-09 suspension (pretty stiff). So if your looking for a more compliant ride the 08-10 suspension will not be it. Even the 11+ suspension still might be harsher than the KW set-up as it's already under sprung from KW to begin with. Translation is that the coil over suspension you have is more compliant (or can be made to be with the adjustments on the coil overs) than any of the stock suspension from 08-14 from what I've read? Something to think about

Why don't you buy a set of suspension and sell the KWs? I have an 08 ISF with '12 suspension on it and I really like the way they feel. In fact I was about to sell the F before I got the suspension upgraded. I am not quite sure what settings you are running on the KWs but do a little bit research and adjustment until you find the right settings for yourself. Otherwise just like everyone else, I would have jumped on this deal if I wasn't in CA

Are you interested in a trade only? I may be inclined to sell my '12 OEM suspension.. I could use some extra cash to put toward a set of PPE headers..I've been blowing too much money on track days!

I think people are too used to Camry level softness in their cars.

Yeah exactly. Don't sell the V3 just have them adjusted. Night and day better than stock suspension.

According to Kuiian they were already too soft. He switched up to the RR Racing set up
