Saving the Carfax for the service history. Nice to see confirmation on how far this thing can go.

The car is about 45 minutes to an hour away from me. I should go take a look at it and take it for a test drive to see how it is. Curious what a 250k mile ISF is like.

^ Please do! Im sure I'm not the only one who's curious as to how the transmission feels at 250k.

That's impressive mileage- my last Civic (2001) beater made it to around 215K before the transmission was shot to hell AND the catalytic converter went out. Apparently the transmission was a big issue on the early 7th generation Civics. Happy to know my Lexus ISF will make it beyond that Civic!

Think about this guys, what if this F never had the transmission serviced and if someone from this forum goes and test drives it and it's just as snappy as one with sub 100k then what does that say about the lifetime fluid of the ISF tranny???

Lifetime to me = 100k miles. That's 2.5 lifetimes lol.

Reason I say that is because most cars seem to really fall apart after, or in some cases before, 100k haha.

I don't remember seeing any transmission services on its records other than leak inspections, thats why I'm so interested in how its held up.

Agree with both of you guys, that's why I'm also interested in the driving condition of the vehicle if someone local goes to drive it??

I'm going to try and check it out this weekend if it's still available. It's about a 45 minute drive for me. If anyone has anything specific they want me to check out, let me know. I definitely want to test the transmission in sport mode/manual mode and see how it shifts.

That would be incredible if you can make it down there, I'm also curious if it has the crack in the headers like most higher mileage Fs do, I'm assuming they were stock all its life. Thanks a bunch for doing this for CL.

The fluid was replaced at 85k, but i didn't see one after. I downloaded the service records from the Lexus portal.

Oh ok, well that's not horrible then if it has only 165,000 on the transmission oil?
