Thanks for the clip Grom. For anyone wondering how the VL1 compares: my VL1 boots in 25-30 seconds. I do have GApps loaded though so maybe that time would be cut down some if I didn't. I will say I swear it seems to load faster with a different launcher. With DashLINQ enabled it seemed to be slower than I referenced above but I haven't done any formal tests to confirm that.
This is standard Lexus behavior to show Navi screen at start. Simply press AUDIO button to show VLine screen.
During a previous VLINE software version, it boot directly into GROM. The above video that GROM posted showcases system booting straight into VLINE, without any sort of interaction.

Any ideas?
On your stereo we had to disable that feature since it might glitch the stereo sometimes. We kept getting complaints every day.
No, mirroring means it shows what is displayed on your phone up on the screen, just like airplay mirroring. You have to control the phone by using the phone - not really the greatest idea while driving.
Only use of this I see is putting a small mouse or touchpad somewhere and controlling it. 2 screens seem even more distracting.
Does this "replace" the CD input? Stock the aux won't work if there's a CD in and would like to be able to switch inputs between grom and CD if possible.
Just installed VL2 on my 2012 ISF and it's pretty nice. I will exclusively be using Apple carplay and it's so smooth. Upon car startup vline/carplay launches automatically if the phone is connected.
