anyone getting the grom vline?

I am considering buying a VL2 for my IS, and I was thinking the same - where to "hide" the GPS antenna. Can it be installed under the dash but not shielded from any metal, and in sufficient distance to the speakers? I have seen something like this in a YT clip about installing an aftermarket navi in a Ford Fusion.
Has anyone done this? Is there a place, and how to access it for the placement?
Any hints appreciated, before I start tearing the dash apart

Placement of GPS antenna for VLine on Lexus dashboard.
This is the test vehicle, so antenna is not fully attached. However you can attach it better with supplied sticky pad and hide the wire.

My Vline2 arrived on Saturday and I installed it. I'm having 2 issues that is making me consider returning it.
- Backup Camera, Sometimes when I put the car in reverse my backup camera doesn't pop up on the screen, other times it takes a few seconds to appear and when it does I usually get vertical lines on the screen.
- Equalizer Settings, Playing around with the Vline EQ settings does absolutely nothing for me. If I switch to the factory EQ settings I notice the difference but when I change to input to Vline, it just stays consistently flat.

Yes, accourding to GROM support my problems are the result of my generation of IS:
"If you're referring to updates regarding the LEX6 backup camera issue, unfortunately that's limitation of the radio."
So GROM expects cars between 2010 and 2012 to have these problems. I guess I'm returning it.

@gromaudio or anyone else who happens to know... Is there anyway of temporarily removing the navigation bar pictured below? I find with map apps, you loose just enough of the screen to make it hard to read, Google maps works nicely on 7" screens although at 6" and a bit it makes everything jammed in.

You need to switch to FM or turn the stereo off while backing up in some cases. It only affects some cars and not all. Nothing we can do currently.
EQ settings explained in Manual. You need to press "Factory mode" button and adjust EQ on factory screen while in VLine mode.

the price is now $200 shipped.
jk. I am guessing $2 more for shipping. I am literally going to put it in a regular envelope.
It might take 2 weeks to get there.
