Mine's 2006 IS350 but can't imagine the power draw being too different from ISF

@gromaudio Is this a known issue and is this being looked at? Getting sick of jumping my car every 2 days

Anyone have a fix for this? The VL2 noticeably drains my 2007 IS350 battery, especially when driven infrequently which has recently been the case for me. I have to remember to disconnect the power in the glove-box if I'm not going to be driving it for a few days to prevent killing my battery.

Thanks for the update! I think my battery despite being only a couple years old has probably degraded during the pandemic due to how little it has been driven. It seems to be ok as long as I drive semi regularly. I also have an aftermarket remote start that draws power so I think it’s a combination of those things for me.

I just installed mine (LEX5VL2). Could not be happier. COMPLETELY refreshed the infotainment. Screen looks and works great, so far reliable, sound quality excellent. Install was relatively easy.

Should be LEX6VL2. The SKU with "RT" in it is for models equipped with "remote touch" which I don't believe any of the ISFs had.

Thank you, Would I be able to order this from your UK website?

Also my ISF is a GCC Spec (Middle East specification) do you think I'll face any issues?

Yes you car order from GROM Audio UK website.
As the vehicle is foreign (non-US specs), please send us the photo of your stereo while playing in FM mode. You can email it to support at gromaudio.com We will double check and let you know.

Interesting, what is the navigation upgrade that Grom is talking about with this version?

So installed the new unit.

Quick summary.

Pros:
- Apple Car Play seems to work.
- Funky looking new fresh screen (still need more time to fully explore).

Cons:
- I cannot access any of my OEM Dash screen functions (I thought there was a way on switching between V-LINE and OEM). My V-Line boots as soon as the ignition is on.
- Revsere camera has stopped working (I get a glitchy black screen when I put the gear on R).
- I cannot access my AC Screen for controls (The Screen turns black when I select AC, and I have to guess where the up AC button was located on a black screen and then the AC will switch on).
- When someone calls while in Apple Car play I can't pick up from the steering wheel button, I have to touch the screen.
- When someone calls and I pick up, I can hear them, but they can't hear me (my unit did not include an additional Mic, so maybe that could be why).
- Screen sometimes randomly decides to go black and glitchy and then will comes back on.

I dont have a IS-F , but I would try updating the firmware , as I think they fixed some of these, or at least contact support ASAP.
