Just want to chime in and say how much I enjoy the VL2 in my 08 IS-F. It has been working flawless for me over the past year and really makes the car feel so much newer than it is. Having carplay and the ability to watch OBD Fusion is just sweet.

Also I have noticed that Siri is not nearly as reliable or responsive when using wireless CarPlay vs wired. What wireless speed does the phone connect at?
Is there anyway to fix the Siri issue? You can easily a/b test it using wired CarPlay versus wireless.

We are working on it, but do not have solid date yet. For CarPlay and Android Auto the Android version does not matter, only if you want to use the VLine stand-alone with the apps running on the unit. Most of the apps are working with the current Android version.
There should not be any problems with Siri. You can try to reset the wireless CarPlay connection, as shown here:
