Failed safety inspection!
#16
So i ended up getting a pass now. I failed with 245/275 setup mounting on LFA rep rims, and so i came home and swapped in the stock ISF rims with 235/275 setup and passed with that. Guy said now it looks fine cause i guess the LFA reps were further out closer to the fenders whereas the oem ISF rims sit more into the wheel well. Regardless it passed now, came home and swapped back. Never going there again! So we can have wider tires i suppose just has to sit more flush, oem style...

The specs of the LFA reps are : F: 19x8.5 (38mm) and R: 19x9.5 (38mm). visually is a big difference, i noticed it right away when i slapped on the oem ISF rims, much more sunken into the fender wells.

Damn that really sucks! That's a plus down here in Florida. They give no F's about annual safety inspections. You just renew your registration online, you get your new registration in approx 48hrs in the mail. Slap on new decal, replace registration document in car and keep riding!
Sorry **** people here go buy an inspection illegally a lot, and then buy insurance for the tags , then cancel it.
luckily here in San Antonio, they just check lights, etc. ...... In Houston and Dallas, they stick the rod up the tailpipe and do smog , etc. test.
