This thread is sure getting looked at, I would love to know what happened with Slays experience. He no longer has the ISF. Last I read, he got a Porsche. Perhaps, I'll scout where the E85 stations are. This way when I'm ready I'll give it a try, but I'm currently stock except exhaust. Keep the comments and experiences rolling! Any other items anybody care about to share with the community?

Update: I have driven 255 miles mixed city and hwy. Usually I average 200-225 miles per tank and I must say mixing with e85 may had attributed to better mpg. Secondly, the engine noise is alot quieter. I can barely hear the roar @ 4k RPM. The car runs alot SMOOTHER and acceleration picks up alot better. I may schedule a dyno run and compare it to my previous dyno. I may also do another "speedtest" acceleration run and compare it to my previous runs but for now, I have zero complaints.

Yes! Loving the feedback. These are the exact same differences I noticed as well. Almost instantly I could feel the car idled smoother and had less vibration at a stop, as well as all the others. Still didnt take out the notorious engine tick though

Time for me to join the club.

Brought the tank down to reserve. Still had a little less than 2 gallons in the reserve.

I guess I picked the most used pump lol. FYI $1.83 per gallon, almost a dollar less per gallon than premium.

Mixed 4.5 gallons based on the 16.9 tank capacity. Based on 10% ethanol this equals out to E30 blend, though it's not perfect because who knows if there's truly 10% ethanol or 85% ethanol in either fuel.

And just a sweet little pic for proof lol.

The car definitely feels a little smoother and quieter. I still have to reset the ecu and do some pulls to get the timing correct.

Absolutely! Same thing with my results, I think it's because of the leaner mixture that we're able to yank more miles out of the blend. Glad you like it!

my car feels the same way, almost instantly as soon as i put e85 on it for the very 1st time. i am surprised you only used to get 200-225 miles per tank my average is always been around 250-300. i am halfway done with my gas tank i will post up how many miles i got to the tank with e85

To the guts getting better gas mileage, were you guys using 91 or 93 octane before? Here in NC, 93 is readily available and that's all I feed the F. Just wondering if some of you guys are coming from 91 Oct or not.

Yep 91 octane is the highest you can get here (Co) and in Cali, might be why our cars responded so well to the blend!

I mixed in 3 gallons of E85 and 93 octane for the rest. Car feels great - slightly better throttle response and my traction control light is flashing a lot more than normal in first and second gear. The difference this far has been noticeable, but not dramatic. I did not reset the ecu.

Ran into a modded GTR on the drive back from the gas station - and got beat. I was undewheled with the GTR highway performance - I thought he would blow me away, it was kinda even through 3rd gear and he started to walk away midway through 4th before we shut it down. Maybe he is not running great or maybe it's the E85!
