Another 1/4 mile record

Excellent results!! You seem soooo dedicated to getting better times/results with all these passes done! Love the passion!
Quick question for you though....do you really think or know that removing the engine cover and floor mats reduce weight/make a difference? Can't be but make 3 lbs or so total...maybe I'm wrong?! Definitely the spare tire and <1/4 tank of gas makes good weight improvements. Just don't remember the engine cover being more than a few lbs the few times I took it off.

It's very minimal, but every ounce adds up when trying to do what he's been doing.

10 hp = 100 lbs weight reduction = .1 in the 1/4 = 950 ft (or so) of elevation change at a constant temperature and humidity
Generally speaking...
This is at sea level and as you go outside of this box the further you get away from sea level the more dramatic the changes. IOW the curves are not linear.

I hadn't been tracking Corrected ET/MPH, but out of curiosity I did the calculations and thought I would share. Corrected ET, both you and Toothdoc have me which makes sense since you were both running lighter than me and Drok149 is most likely making more power with the tune and intake. Really anxious to see how my car does in November/December after the Tune/Intake and I go catless again.

I was thinking...DA of -1800? Damn!
Atco had a DA of ~-1000 last night...if I didn't skip out maybe you'd be adding me to that spreadsheet

i still have the heavy battery but I'm looking to go with a lighter one at some point. Your lucky you get to run in November/December my track is closed until April unfortunately. I feel like I should have been trapping at 120-121 because I was trapping at 119+ on stock wheels without the figs rotors and stock intake as well as a significantly lower DA. That's where a few hundred rpms will make a big difference.
Nice! Don't skip out again. How late in the season is ATCO open to?

Thanks for the update! I've made the change to my spreadsheet and if there is anything else to change let me know. The stock tires have a slightly higher diameter so the trap speed will be higher. You are right about the rpms too, which is why I plan to have the rev limit bumped up as part of the tune on Monday by around 300 or 400 rpms. This should help with the top of 4th issue in the quarter mile. Nothing worse than bouncing off the limiter at the end knowing time is wasted.

Quote from my post (#26 pg 2):
They do IIRC they can flash the transmission ECU/chip by bench flashing it only (sending your ECU to them), they can't flash them currently via the My Genius tool? Hopefully that changes in the near future?
Worth getting a hold of Rafi and asking him about progress on that front possibly?

Update: RR already replied and as MileHIFcar said, the issue is resolved but can only be done with direct access to the ECU and TCU. Won't work through OBD2 port and this costs extra. I told him I'm down!

11.7 is an awesome time!!!
I just went to Capitol Raceway over the weekend and only managed a 12.27 @118.7. The DA was about 2200 though which killed the time. I'm curious, how did you launch to get below 1.8 60ft?

Yeah I'm reaching out to him now. I just assumed that issue was resolved.

The DA definitely is a factor but also intake air temps. If I get stuck sitting in the staging lanes for more than 30 seconds they creep up over 90-100 degrees. I usually go to the drag strip on Wednesday nights when it's not to busy and I can literally hot lap it and not sit at idle for more than 10-15 seconds. This keeps my intake air temps between 60-80 depending on the ambient air temp which ideally you want below 40. I'll usually do 6-8 runs in 15 minutes then take a break.
