Default Let's see those beater cars for northern F owners!

Final wash of my F and ready for another winter hibernation. The blue Toyota is the beater I use for winter months (haven't put on it's winter tires yet).
Lets show some love to the beaters that take the abuse of harsh winter conditions and road salt!!

I win for having the ugliest color beater. The F also had its last cleanup and is staying tucked in for a while!

What is that blue Toyota??? They don't sell that model in the US. Looks like it would get blown all over the road and have kind of tippy handling considering its width/height ratio.

I drive my 08 IS-F through chicago winters....I bought it used and its nothing special.

Throw some snow tires on it and its a great car.

its a 2005 Toyota echo hatchback, the only year they made them in that body style and was not sold in the US, its also known as the Toyota vitz outside of north america. It's actually pretty stable but very light weight, and has amazing gas mileage too. Super reliable, almost at 280,000 and only replaced the clutch on it, everything else still original.

Here's my daily car/ winter beater... 2010 Civic SI. Think I'll wait a few more weeks to stick the winter tires on and probably put away the IS-F at the end of November.

2006 GX470 has been a solid engine winter beater for 11 years so far.

98 S10 4cyl manual. Also acts as my dirt bike hauler. Hope it doesn't break down...

^ Nice to see somebody else disprove the idea that you can't drive a 2wd truck in the winter. Throw weight in the bed and volia, it works!!

Last year, instead of spending money on winter wheels/tires, I decided to put it toward a beater truck.. The intent was to do a just a tune up, but it ended up being a near total engine rebuild (down to the short block).

My 2004 G 6spd with stock rims and snow tires. Goes in any snow, as long as it's not real deep! I've been behind Sequioas before going up a hill and the Sequioa was barely able to get up this long hill and the G was just plowing up it. People do look at you like you are crazy though...
