I have the magnaflows with 200cel metalic- no issues at all. I have had them for about 2 years (10K miles)...no track time though, just normal aggressive driving.

I should also mention that I did not notice any change in performance when I added them to my setup..

im stuck between the Magnaflows from RR-racing or ordering the Gesi. car is only being a DD. It'll sting to spend the extra coin for the Gesi but I am looking for longevity. But if i can get the same from the Magnaflows for a third of the cost...

i read up in this thread the main thing is hard heat cycles is what kills the Magnaflows quicker and that's typically track driving, which i don't see myself doing in the near future.
My Magnaflow cats died with only about 2,500 of regular use. I WOULD NOT recommend. And it wasn't the heat, it was the vibration that rattled them loose. Then it got stuck and started impeding exhaust flow.

I would HIGHLY suggest the GESI cats though. I've been running them for the last 18,000 miles with no issues whatsoever.

We can get you GESI cats as well. They are expensive but they’re the best.

So far I've driven 80,000 on the gesi
Went through a series of other stuff.

I still have some smell from it and even day one. I don't think you can get rid of the fuel exhaust smell completely.

Running rr racing tune and larger intake

^^^^The smell seems to be vehicle specific. I have never had a gasoline smell with either of my Magnaflow sets or my current GESI. Also, a friend in town, doesn't run cats and he has no smell.

I remember reading about checking the vent flaps behind the rear bumper since the exhaust sits behind the bumper and could allow fumes in from there... I ll replace mine If anything.
