You're never supposed to say that out loud!!!! That's when she'll have twins or triplets the next time around.....!!!!
Sorry to see you leaving the F family. Maybe save a few bucks on the cosmetic only F sport package and di the upgrades yourself possibly?!?
And the RX350 would be perfect for 1 or 2 littles ones. Our '13 is decent (at best) on gas, very agile, entry of power, nice interior and exterior, and not gunna hit you for $40-$50k.

Oh, sorry I meant checking out the F Sport RX350. We loved ours- just unfortunately out grew it. We said the same thing then life happened.

Can't go wrong with the GS either though. Good luck on your purchase.

+1 That's what most folks do. Leaning over to put a baby in a child seat in the back of a cramped, low sedan gets old quick. It sounds like you need to get another vehicle that works for the wife and baby. Or expect the GS to get trashed as a kid hauler along with car seat, strollers, playpens, etc.

Kids before cars.

Here's the thing, we have a sportwagen (yes a part of dieselgate) I think we would agree a very big car. The interesting thing is, it's not just the kid that takes up space, it's the amount of CRAP that inevitably comes with the kid that gets you. Strollers, car seats, diaper bags etc. All this and suddenly if you go shopping with your SO and baby you can't fit everything easily in one trip. A trip to the airport means playing tetris to get everything in.

Also it's a LOT easier to get them strapped in, in an SUV/crossover because they're going to be at your standing level, and if it's snowing/raining etc you just get into the car with them to strap them in.

I picked up a cheap 2005 rx330 for baby and wife dutys put a new Bluetooth head unit in it and kept the F. Also just put liability only on it and my car insurance went down on my F also. Just an idea, also congrats on the little 1

Keep you F and buy a Sienna AWD Minivan.

I never wanted a minivan and hated them....but after driving it with kids....I love it.

We got rid of our 4Runner for the minivan....best thing ever for Kiddos.

Congratulations on the kid, but you will miss the performace of the F. Just last week I bought my wife a 2015 GS 350 F-sport. I have to say, I love the look of the car and all the modern day gadgets it has, but it is no F. The steering feels pretty good but when you step on the gas, its like, where is the power? I know the car is competitive to other sedans in terms of power, but when you are use to driving an ISF, it feels like you are driving a Camery.

At the end of the day, im sure you will be happy with the car and thats what matters. I already give you a big thumbs up for not giving up your "man card" by driving around in a mini van! Lol

I was going to say, I'd rather add a minivan to the stable and not lose the IS-F.

Thumbs up

I appreciate all your input guys! The good thing is we still have a few more months to prepare, so maybe our choices will change in that time, who knows. Tomorrow i'll be making up the Ad for the ISF, just wondering what i could get for it though ball park-ish?

Its a 2010, white/blk leather, all the options such as park sensors, rain sensors, ML system, etc. It also has the joe z cat back exhaust and afe filter. Wald rear CF diffuser. Lowered on tein springs, 2012 led headlamps also. Its never seen winter or barely any rain for that matter so yes its been babied all of its life, underneath its spotless, no hint of rust or anything and inside its like brand new also, no dents or dings either. Engine bay is spotless, bolts still have their factory shine. Also has the 3M tape for the front end and by the trunk on the rear bumper, all installed by Lexus. It's currently sitting at 84kms (52k miles), no accidents, all clean record.
