I had a 2014 IS350 F-sport and now have a 2010 ISF. There are things I miss about the 3IS such as seat position, interior aesthetics, the cool sliding gauge, and the exterior looks. However, the power, driving experience, and more visceral nature of the ISF make the trade worth it. And while I did like the seats of the 3IS, the nuluxe material wasn't that impressive.

Don't get me wrong as I too love a gorgeous interior, but I think interior gadgets themselves are very overrated. Oddly, the auto industry seems to be re-cluttering them again with tons of actual buttons on top of having a touchscreen. If I could lose the touchscreen in the ISF I would. That said there are very cool interior portions to the ISF, then there are some that look like Camrys. The silver carbon fiber look paired with dead grey (08 here) radio / climate controls - It's a confused interior. I'm cool with it though because the car is a dragon. The new IS body style is very effeminate to me. No interest.
no offense, the 08 interior was ugly due to that console you speak up. 09+ had the nice black finish. very durable, could not scratch or swirl. My interior looked good, i remember people complimenting it every time sitting in it.

Do it! One of my best friends upgraded from a 3IS F-Sport to an ISF. Mainly because his 3IS got totaled but it gave him the opportunity to get into a better car. He regrets nothing and loves everything about the car. As for myself, I was going to settle for an ISX50 but decided I ultimately wanted the F anyways so I just saved up just a bit longer for the ISF. Now I haven't driven an 3IS but many of my friends have 2IS250 and 2IS350 and it's night and day difference comparing it to the F, especially the lightning quick transmission on the F.

this is normal comments i get when people use to sit in the car. they thought it was the newest model out. key to a nice interior is keeping it clean. no leather conditioners or any of that crap. all you have to do is wipe your leather and panels with warm water to take out the oils that kills the leather. it was immaculate.

Besides that, good leather doesn't come from cows, it comes from steers as does almost all the beef people eat. Cows are for breeding and milking, not for eating or leather. I grew up on my grandfather's farm in Mt. Vernon Iowa and learned a bit about cattle.
Anyone else here been shoulder deep in a cow putting a chain around a calf's front feet?
