Default Best XM radio option

thank you all for your earlier help on finding OEM part numbers. Before I pull the trigger with OEM, are there better solutions out there for the 08 ISF? I read some stuff about OEM lockout when moving? A forum member has a Varias kit, is that better or worse?
so this has me thinking, is there a better solution for me in 2017?
Thanks

There have only been a handful of units that aid in a navigation/infotainment bypass. The three that come to mind are the VAiS, Beat-Sonic, and Prestigious Society, all of which have their own unique module with regards to the bypass.

When it comes to XM radio, that's a completely different topic. If you have the SAT button but no signal, most likely there is no XM tuner pre-installed. It's 2017, so unlikely there will be a company continuing to work on a nearly decade old platform when it comes to satellite radio or even infotainment access.

Best of luck to you and enjoy your F!
