Maybe so, but don't plan on replacing those seat covers inexpensively. Top and bottom cost me $1500 USD for new covers from Lexus. We won't talk about the four hours of installation necessary to get them in the car.

I was able to pick up the seat bottom foam and cover for $500 last Xmas on sale from one of the Lexus parts sponsors of the site (the one Lobux uses, but I can't recall the name). Honestly, I can't believe I got them this cheap--Infiniti wanted $400 for the foam alone and $1300 for the crappy, mostly fake leather seat cover for my G!!
To to be honest, right from the start, you should climb in over the bolsters and do your best not to touch anything on the way in...which usually means using something else to support your weight and wearing out the seat frame etc in the process

Ever since I noticed the leather wearing I have been very careful how I get in and out of the seat. I use the grab handle and steering wheel to help bring me in and out of the car. Mine is actually leather and alcantara so I suspect even more expensive/difficult to repair. Nevertheless I plan to see if any of the leather restoring services can bring the leather part back up to spec. Maybe if they refinish it with extra clear coating it might not wear as quickly. It is exceedingly annoying to see my 2003 Honda accord leather seats in better shape than the ISF.

Alcantara is a significantly cheaper. I would have converted mine, but I didn't want to do both front seats.

The lower cover (71072-53510-C2) right now, cheapest price from Lexus Internet retailers is $671.89 before shipping. Not the foam, just the cover. I honestly wish I had done the foam too. It was obviously damaged from track use.
Cover part numbers here.

Yep, it was MyLParts. It might have been 550$, don't recall exactly, but it was crazy cheap. This was for the alcantara.
Maybe this year I'll buy the seatback cover. I vowed never to wait to buy these parts again because the foam is something that a shop really can't replicate. Minimally if you have the foam they can recover. The one time I waited the parts went out of manufacture and literally could not be found anywhere.

This will become a larger issue as the IS F's last date of production fades in the distance. There are LOTS of Supra parts you can't get anymore. If you plan to keep the car for a long time, consider door seals, sunroof seals, windshield fascia, and other parts commonly damaged by sun so when they crack and die you'll have new ones to put back in their place. Everyone will ask you if your car is new...AMHIK...

LOL! I know this all too well. I'm in the process of re-doing my G35 coupe and have been grabbing all that kind of stuff for some time now--but, I'm stuck on the seats (thankfully they are still in "good" shape, so, in order to get new ones they would almost have to be aftermarket to get better than what I have now. Everything I've seen online has been far worse than mine!
Thankfully this car has been garaged at home and work it's whole life, so it has very little uv damage to it, so it's a good slate to begin with.
