You know.. If the prius and vette had a child.. It would be the IS-F. It's the middle ground for seats, power, and mpg. 
Joke or not, my wife and I share a prius and my F. It's a pretty good balance.

F tops it in:
*interior quality/feel/looks
*Every last single crash test
*Looks exterior (opinion)
*v8 sound (opinion)
I'm sure there's more, lol. As far as speed goes, it .1 seconds faster than the F in the 1/4 mile and I believe traps 1 mph more in the 1/4 mile....Along with .1 or .2 seconds faster than the F 0-60. Wouldn't call that "destroying" an ISF by any means! Lol.
Back in 06, I crossed shopped for my first real car out of college, an 02 IS300, an 05/06 GTO, and an 97/98 Supra, lol. Somewhat all over the place! Ended up buying the 5 speed IS300 b/c it was gunna be a daily driver and I couldn't justify 2 doors and the gas mileage of the GTO and Supra at the time. Still happy with my purchase as 11 years later, I still have the IS300 and has been super cheap to maintain given it's excellent realiability.
OP, I say get the Prius AND the F....Good daily driver in the Prius (probably spend $5 in gas a week... Can't beat that) and have a fun weekend car in the F.
