Default 2008 ISF won't unlock

My car won't unlock via the controller button. It will if I grab the handle. It locks and the trunk will open using that remote. I've used both remotes and switched batteries several times.

Any help would be great.

No. sorry. None of the doors will unlock via the remotes. They all work fine with the handle keylessly and the buttons inside. No hesitation or catching in any of them.

I've had funny things like that happen with our 4Runner when the keyfob battery got low on juice. Perhaps try replacing the battery in the keyfob if you haven't already.

Yes. Sorry. All batteries are brand new. Even took back two and got two more.

I remember reading something similar in a IS250 forum. End of the day its a remote issue, not an ISF issue so this might help.

It was something along the lines of having the remotes on you, then push/hold start until you hear 3 beeps. The beep intervals might be several seconds between but once you hear all 3, its calibrated the remotes or something to that effect. I recall the OP saying initially he thought it didnt work but when he tried an hour later it did so wether this means there is some kind of delay, im not sure.

Good luck

I have a 2008 so there's no remote start. I'll try to recalibrate it. Maybe I'll try to reset the car via the battery. It's both remotes with different batteries so I'm stumped. Thanks for the input. I'll try searching forums again for that thread.
