Default ******* front bumper

i seriously have such a love HATE relationship with cars

anyway...my front bumper on the driver side isn't aligned and I spent the last hour trying to fix it.

Anyone know what I can do to fix the tabs? I can not seem to fkin align the damn thing. Now the gap is even worse than it was before and I'd really like to know if there is anything I can do to fix the part that is ripped as shown in the image.

please help for my sanity!
The part is detached from the bumper and should be one piece with the bumper. The whole thing isn't ripped only about in inch or so and because of that I can't align the damn tabs

Not sure if you're NorCal or SoCal, but if you are in the SoCal area, Tommy at MusicBox did a great job re-aligning my front bumper after a few steep inclines broke a few tabs. He essentially relocates the front bumper tabs that have either been snapped or are essentially useless in holding the darn thing in place. My car isn't even low, but entryways and speed bumps almost always get me. The same situations have led me to protecting my front lip even more, and I'm certainly glad I don't need to constantly worry about a carbon fiber lip getting F'd up while trying to make it up/down an entryway or over a speed bump.

I had a couple of broken tabs on the pass side. I fixed it with a plastic welding kit from Harbor Freight.

Thank you guys but I still can't align the tabs in place how do I do that? Do I have to take off the whole bumper not just the 10mm nut?

the tabs that hold the bumper in place and aligns it are torn out.. epoxy it back in place which be a pita or start putting extra screws underneath the bumper to push it back in place.. i have the same problem..

You would be better off buying a new bracket. Cheap part, I think $40 or so. I did it with mine

the tabs are the bumper itself.. they are the ones that broke off.. so nothing to connect and hold the bumper in place to the car except for the 10mm screw at the end

I have the same issue and after trying multiple things I've pretty much decided I need to get a new bumper.

Did you try JBweld? I tried it this weekend and it seems pretty solid. Holds up to 4400ppsi. stoked on the results so far.

I have the same issue.. pretty big gap at the bottom of the headlight. wondering if anyone has fixed this without replacing the bumper.

yeah...try the JBweld. It worked for me and so far is holding up really well.

yah...so bc of the sag i didnt know how to hold my bumper up and i didnt want to hold it for an hour while it dried. So get something that you can use and put between the ground and the bumper to hold it up. Get the JBweld that is for plastic thats 4400ppsi. Take off the two facets that hold the plastic fender liner and the 10mm nut on the top...detach the bumper as far as you need to go to fix where ever needs fixing...mix the JBweld together and rub it on the top of the bumper or where ever your trying to repair. than just take the item that you found to hold the bumper up and just let it dry...simple as that.

let me know how you end up fixing it. i have the same problem with my fender. i will installing the new headlight next weekend and planning to fix the damn front bumper
