Question for New England Owners
For those of you that live in New England I would say that most have heard of Lou's Exhaust Shop, if not they specialize in custom exhaust for most vehicles and other fabrication. My question is, has anyone been there before for a custom exhaust and if so anything good to say about them? They quoted me $400 for parts and labor for a catback exhaust so just wondering if that's a good deal or not?

im no where near new England but for $400 for a custom catback is a super steal, granted depends on the quality piping they use and how good their welds will be. but at that price its a steal IMO

Everything that is made by hand these days is custom. Everytime I go to the bathroom it is custom and frankly better then the junk Lou's calls custom exhaust. The price reflects the quality and for $400 you can't even buy a replacement exhaust for a 92' Jeep Cherokee at the auto parts store so try to figure out how Lou's does it. The only super steal is your money getting stolen for a piece of junk exhaust.
Anything short of mandrel bent, back purged and tig welded stainless steel exhaust is going to be a step in the wrong direction. If you want custom just buy one of the well build systems already avalible for this car and chop something out of it or call Figs and ask him about his truly custom exhaust.

To RCB, you said you own an automotive shop, do you guys do anything related to custom exhaust? If so I'd rather go to a fellow member to have it done.
To kojak, yeah they said they can delete resonators and mufflers for the whole $400

So I just found out the quote of $400 was for aluminum, for stainless it would be roughly $600 or so they said. I forgot to ask about the mandrel or crush bend when I pass by again I'll ask them.

Dont waste your time its crush bends. Save yourself the headache and buy a borla or joe Z and have RCB install it. He does all my work and is a straight shooter no BS.
