Default window tint

Picking up a 13 ISF that has no tint at all. It's been a long time since i have had to tint a vehicle. The color is Liquid Platinum. Any suggestions or ideas on what tint to use? Would like to keep it legal which here in MO is 35% on front.

Just go as dark as you can while keeping it legal.

I would choose a tint grade that allows you to view outside the vehicle at night to where you don't have to wonder about blindspots or not being able to see things. Personally, I like as dark as possible in the rear and maybe two to three shades lighter tint in the front windows. The shade isn't as much an issue to me compared to quality of the tint material and its heat rejection properties.

Definitely post some pics of your F after the tint. It'll look much different in your eyes, but that will just get the ball rolling with other mods haha.

++ If this matters at all to you. I have to roll down my windows to see in dark places (my street sometimes if moonlight is low)

dark tint looks trashy to me. i use to like dark tint but 30 percent and up is the way to go. i personally would do 35 percent all around if your car looks nice or 50 percent around if your paint is black.

Regardless of how dark you go, get ceramic tint. Much better for keeping you cool on hot days.

Just picked up new Lexus last week. Had them put tint on front driver/passenger windows. Said new cars do not come from manufacture with front tinted windows unless customer requests them. Negotiated deal before I picked car up and signed paperwork. Honestly, never knew that until this Lexus. My new Cadillac came with all tinted windows.

i like dark as hell, i like privacy and to keep the car cool on hot sunny days. But i don't want to give any reasons to pull me over, so a 35% ceramic tint is what i will look for. I will probably tint the back glass 5% though. Thanks for all the recommendations.

18% rears and 35% front I have black interior soo it's still dark outside looking in. I'm in CA soo it's illegal to have tint in the front but when I see a cop I just usually open the sunroof and brings light inside, but when closed it's dark enough to people can't see me pick my nose lol

Called the dealership, they are put 35% on all doors, and 5% on back glass and moon roof for me.

They charge around $400-500 CAD here in Canada for Pinnacle Formula One.

Default 25% Example on Black

I'm at 25 front and back, so sent an example on a black car. I think it looks nice (and in this picture, lighter than expected), but wouldn't have gone this dark due to state regulations. The car came with the tint from Texas, so I'm trying to decide what to do as well.
