Use code CL5 for a small discount.

You can save a few dollars by getting the later model cover. It fits, works fine, and is only missing some sound absorbing material. I put one on my car and it worked just fine.

Wait, the later models don't have the sound deadening? I HATE the sound deadening, it just soaks up moisture and road debris! I'll have to keep this in mind.

Would sound deadening really do any difference on these panels, I don't think so.

^You'd think not, but they wouldn't put it on there if there wasn't a reason for it.

Having said that, if it's absent on later years, it was eventually deemed not worth the cost or something.

what part # is this later model cover that you're referring to? The one linked above supercedes another part # so i wonder if the one you're referring to is actually the one. It also looks like this is an IS-F only part.

Mine has a few cracks and i'd like to replace it eventually but i want to see if there is a less costly option out there that is OEM.

51410-53081 is the late model one. It is significantly cheaper than the 51410-53080.
