Upgrading Shocks from 2010 (Bilstein or 2013 OE)

Good info
I was looking to upgrade to coilovers but after reading this I may just do the Bilstein now and then focus on other big ticket items such as headers and bushings.
All 4 shocks I noticed yesterday are shot, I'm going to leave the OE springs for now. (Roads are terrible here, Grand scale road construction upgrade for the past year or so)
Thanks team CL

Just ordered the Swifts from @ModInJapan for a great deal. Shocks will be here tomo. Hope to have them on by next week. I'll keep you posted. Not certain what shap my OEM shocks are in with 59k on the car but it feels very bouncy.

would B6's and OE springs be sufficient? and not cause the lifted front/lowered rear end look? my struts are showing signs of seepage, and i wanna get ahead of this. but to be honest i don't wanna lower the car any further (L.A. roads). mine is an 09 for reference.

I too don't want to lower any further.
I haven't pulled the trigger on the B6 as yet as i'm still researching this issue to confirm the Pre-load claim.

I've read mixed cases of this B6 &OE springs issue, some have the lift others don't, I think (correct me if i'm wrong) its a preload issue during installation.

Thanks!
Sorry, maybe I missed it, but did you order 12-14 specific shocks? Did it come with two sets of lower mounts? I noticed someone said they used the same part number for their 08. Did that person have spring alignment issues?
Would you please have one of the guys measure that lower mount’s diameter (what would be the inner diameter of the coil?
also is that the rear or front shock?
tomorrow I’ll measure up the two generations of springs and post a few pictures.
Thanks
matt

Inner coil measurement where the spring sits the perch mount is 3.25" on both front and rear on the Bilstein's. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way but that's what I was shipped. My springs get here tomo so I'll see how they line up.
