Hello, got a 2010 here and the other day the dash indicated I had low oil level. It flashed long enough for me to read the message, but went away. It happened on a relatively flat piece of road going at a slow speed.

The oil level at cold is at the high mark on the dip stick. Royal purple 5w-30 was used has about 5000KM on it. I've only seen this error message once, but is this an indication of another problem ? (oil pump, too much oil, sensor)?

I've had this issue on my 2010 twice as well. I'd be driving along on a flat road, not turning and it would flash on my dash for a second and go away. Check oil level and everything is ok. Not sure if its a sensor issue or what.

I had the exact same problem running royal purple 5W30 as well. It happened after a 250km road trip and I was stuck at the boarder traffic for 45mins.

The oil level low light came on when I got home. I checked my oil level the next day and it was in the middle of the dip stick. I added half a liter and the light never came back on.

I had this issue happen to me as well. I was at the end of the oil change cycle (every 5kmi) and I pulled up to a parking lot, put the car in Park and the light goes on. I got scared and immediately shut the car off and checked the level, it was a tad bit low. I turned the car on again and the light wasn't there anymore. Then I added 1.25 quarts to level it out before driving home. I did my oil change as soon as I got home and 10.25 quartz came out. I couldn't find any leaks, but I was driving the car pretty hard those last 5 thousand miles. It's weird ive been checking my oil level regularly since.

I hope its just a glitch to never come back again! will have to just monitor

Had the same problem a couple weekends ago, level checked out fine.
