Shark Fin Question
Hey guys,
I'm toying with the idea of replacing the shark fin XM antenna on my car with a combination GPS/WiFi/Cellular antenna for a vehicle tracking application. I don't suppose anyone has any pictures of what it looks like underneath the shark fin? The new antenna is a different shape (round like a hockey puck) so some areas of the roof surface underneath would be exposed. If the roof surface underneath the fin isn't smooth I may have to abandon the idea.
Any help?

^ Pull out the dome light and underneath there are a few clips you need to unclip then you'll see the 22mm nut that you need to loosen. Taking the actual antenna out was kind of difficult because there are two metal retainer clips on the inside that inevitably will break when removing the antenna. I've wrapped 3 2IS and have never to managed to save any of the clips. I'm sure they do nothing.
