ISF... with 333,000 miles

The previous owner definitely put a ton of highway time on the car with the looks of the wear in the pictures. He should have got some driving shoes.
From the looks of the carpet hole, he probably never used the cruise control.

Wow!!! Congrats!! ...and I thought my '11 I got for ~$23k last month was a bargain... subscribing to see what your Blackstone report has to say, as I literally just sold my IS350 on which I had 192k miles. Hope to get at least that much love out of my IS-F.
Also, I might be selling the RR Racing USRS (LCA bushings) I put on not 2 weeks ago, after *just* now noticing FIGS sells a version with one offset, which I'm hoping can correct the mis-matched front castor issue I've been fighting. Noticed one of your stock'rs is cracked. PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Nick

My 1987 E30 3-Series had 247,000 miles when I sold it. Rock solid engine. Voltage regulator popped at 230k but $30 and 5 min later and I was back on the road. (wasn't even stranded, just lost headlights as voltage spiked and popped fuses)
And my other 3-Series had 160,000 miles (nothing to speak of really) without a single breakdown. Not even close.
Also had an E39 5-Series with 189,000 miles when I sold it. The auto trans was a bit quirky at times but other than that, never let me stranded.
BMWs (mostly the I6s) are some of the most robust and reliable cars on the planet. Particularly mechanically.
Some of your newer ones, especially V8s do have some issues. But you can't blanketly say BMWs are unreliable. 90s/2000s era I6s are known to go go go go go beyond 300k.

change all lubricating fluids regularly. all fluids including coolant
change water pump, belts, pulleys. (any of those breaking can cause an overheat and damage your engine)

By the time I sell her w/200k miles or more, the difference in value due to title won't mean squat...

Happy to see an active forum member get their hands on this car. Any plans for performance mods in the future? really interested to see what that engine dynos, looking forward to the Blackstone analysis too.

I want to run the current oil for 2000 more miles before the BS analysis.
I'm also curious to see what power it makes on the dyno, will do one when there's an opportunity!
As for mods, I may do an intake (Injen seems like a good choice/$) and perhaps exhaust (stock is very quiet).

I'll be addressing some maintenance items this weekend. Mainly the brakes at all corners, transmission, and diff fluid.

My M3 had 203,000 rock solid trouble free miles. Never a single breakdown.

I haven't heard the best stories with the E46 M3 either. SMG,rear end issues, and the rod bearing issue even the E92 came to inherent too being the biggest ones
