Hi all,

Not a huge problem i know but one thats annoying me and i cant seem to fix or find a fix. I have a 08 ISF and my rear view mirror is loose. I cant make it all the way to work without going over slight bumps in the road and noticing the mirror has dropped.

Ive searched and only found issues for those whose mirror is vibrating or coming loose off the windscreen. I dont have those issues. Mine is attached the windscreen fine and doesnt vibrate but its just slightly loose.

Can anyone share how to tighten the ball joint / swivel point or however else its done, thanks.

I think people had received an upgrade under warranty by lexus to the newer model rear view mirror that cleared up this problem. I still have the stock mirror in my 08 but the problem is not nearly as bad as yours. If it was me, I would try to put something in the knuckle to stiffen it up or upgrade to the newer model mirror.
