Here's a poorly worded speedhunters article on the subject:

I smell snake oil in these "rigid collars". The reason of the oversized hole is to allow for adjustment. This allows for slop to exist throughout the entire suspension that can be rectified (to a point) in the final attachment of the subframe to the unibody, not to "ease factory assembly". I don't question that these products do what they say (center the bolt and align the holes). BUT as mentioned this isn't always what you want or is ideal. As someone mentioned in the comments section of the SpeedHunters post:

"The picture in question shows a perfectly circular scar from a knurl bottom flange nut taking the paint off of a painted subframe mounting surface. If this were proof of the subframe moving, it would show horizontal scratches and non-circular scarring, in the directions that the subframe moved.
If the nuts and bolts are torqued per factory specification, then the clamping force between the face of the fastener and the chassis prevents any movement."

From changing the LCA bushings in my F to the USRS I can confirm, the factory torque is A LOT. (Broke 2 tools getting them out and barely got to the click when tightening to 150ft/lbs with a 20in long torque wrench.
