Default Enkei RPF1 18s on ISF

Hey gang, looking to upgrade to a size smaller, umm "downgrade" my wheel size, to 18". I will be running enkei RPF1 since I like how they look with meaty tires and they are really light and strong and I can use some tire on my isf since the ride is so rough. Anyways. I am looking at 18x9.5 for front and 18x10 on back. And I am not master in all the tire sizes thing and I am not sure about the wheel offset since I want my tires to clear breaks and look flush and as fat as possible without rubbing.

The SSCR lexus used
  •
    • 18x8.5J, off-set 30 front
    • 18x9.5J, off-set 40 rear
i want to go even fatter. I want to go x10. Please anyone running fat 18 on their isf chim in )

I think the brakes in the front are too big to fit the RPF1 up front because of their drop center design.

I'll be honest. I don't want to look like the fool and I know there are so much of those questions and while some says it will fit other says it won't. And there are no official thread confirming that they will clear. I have been researching this questions for couple weeks now and can't really get anywhere. I am writing this from my phone so I can't quote all the ppl who said it will fit and all those who said it won't fit.... ugh it's frustrating...

Here one of the links where it says it will fit. I'll try to find those places again and paste links. Please wheels guru chime in. My wife promised me wheels before Christmas and I really really need all correct sizes before I submit it to her

In that thread, mrslay says that they do not fit the front. He has 20s up front in that pic. This is what I based my response on.

Thanks Joker4096. I did noticed it seconds after when I started saving the specs. I don't see many ppl running 19s either....

It all depends on the offsets. Too high of an offset, and the spokes curve in I think.

OP, just make sure to test fit the rims on your F before mounting the tires on 'em. So you can return 'em if they don't work.

If you can't find 18" RPF1s in the right fitment, you can go with PF01s. Similar (more modern to me) look, a bit more weight, and I know there are people on these boards who run 18" PF01s without issue.

I tried installing my friends 18x9.5 NT03's on my ISF to see if they would fit, and they wouldn't clear the front calipers. You should do 19's with a meaty tire, I think it would look good. That is my plan in the coming months, to find some meaty tires for my stock 19's.

They don’t fit, I had to “modify” my calipers to fit mines on. I’m stuck with my IS forever tho so I didn’t mind doing so. Running 18” with 45 offset squared set up. But the dynamic of the drive is amazing now compared to what it was before. Also new to the forum

RPF-01s can fit and clear the calipers, but they're very close. SCCAForums said with no tires and no load they looked like they would scrape the Lexus off the caliper.

Good info in these threads too:
