Default 2nd set of wheels for winter/track?

Hey there! So I've just been parking my ISF in the winter (Chicago suburbs) but I am considering a set of winter tires so I can continue to drive. My current tires are Bridgestone Potenza S-04 PP in 245/285 and it is like ice skating in sneakers anywhere below 50 degrees...
I'm thinking if I get a second set of wheels to dedicate as "alternative" why don't I just go with a square set and run winter tires in the winter and track tires in the summer. Make sense?
I'm considering ENKEI PF01 in 18x9.5 45 offset and running 275/35/18 tires, the recommend "square" track set up. Is this also going to work for winter? Or do I want to go with narrower tires for cutting through snow and slush? What would you recommend. I'm new to the area (former Californian) and new to winters.

I also have a 2004 Volvo XC70 2.5T with AWD. Of course this is the obvious choice for driving in slop, but I just miss driving my ISF for 4-5 months out of the year.

Thanks for any advice!
Andy

I don't think a PF01 is really necessary for a winter setup. Buy a cheaper wheel. I would't go as cheap as steels but you can get a cheap aluminum wheel for 100-150 each and that will be fine for winter driving...unless of course you plan on tracking your car in the winter? By the time you swap rubber 2 or 3 times the dedicated winter wheel pays for itself. Not to mention you don't ruin your nice track wheels and you can swap tires whenever its needed.
I went with 225s for width. Most info I come across is that narrow is a better option for snow.
Lots of threads here talking about winter setups though.

Here's some screenshots I took off my computer of my Blizzak ws80 tires I mount them them on focal 18in rims, didn't want to spend a lot of money on rims that would be exposed NY snow and salt as long as they were functional and look decent they would only be off for about 3 months anyway. I went with the 225/40/18 on 8 inch rim Square set. Oh and those blue stripes on the rims are no longer there I was just messing around I had a can of plastic dip want to see what it would look like with a little color added lol.
