So I'm in the market for a used IS-F 2008-2010, just missed out on a deal for a local white 2010 with 80k miles for 28,300 out the door from our big Toyota dealership. Deciding that looking to the mainland might be my best option. My max budget is 28000, but if I'm going to have it shipped I need to factor that in. Finding one in the Los Angeles area would be easiest as its a port city to Hawaii, and I have friends and family there that can check the car out for me as well as the fact that I'm there every 4th of July weekend. But if I were to look nationwide, how would the logistics of getting it to me work out as far as shipping, payment without getting scammed and having the car checked out? Anyone have any insight to this? Thanks for anyones time.
