Is there a way to turn off the engine without cutting off the radio and keeping it on?
Usually with keys you can turn off the engine and stop the key at the point that keeps the battery and radio functions on. The radio feed never gets cut off this way and you can shut the car down and continue listening without interruption. With the push start do we have to turn off the car completely, then push the start again to just turn on the radio? Is there a way?

Once you have stopped, leave the car in drive and hit the start push button once. The accessories will stay on and the engine will stop. You can then put it the car in park while listening to the radio. Hit the push button again and the car will turn off or put your foot on the brake and it will start.
I do this sometimes when stopped in traffic for long periods of time to save gas and still listen to music. When ready to go, I flip the car into neutral and hit the button to start the car again.

When I was first told of this method years back, the advice I was given was not to immediately push the START button while in drive, but rather to shift into neutral and then perform the same directions newgsman provided. I'm not sure if there is any ill effect to pressing the button while in D, but it in effect has the same result. I, too, prefer listening to the radio or even watching some video clips while the car is not in drive. But when I'm driving, that sweet sound of the exhaust and how she sings right when you get past around 3200 RPM....beautiful!
